Technical Sales Engineer (m/f/x)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer (m/f/x) to join our mission to make lightweight manufacturing autonomous. You will lead technical discussions with sophisticated engineering teams, travel to customers across medical, robotics, industrial manufacturing, automotive and aerospace, and turn promising opportunities into engineering and manufacturing programs.

Are you an engineer who genuinely enjoys the commercial side of the job? Do you want to assess real components, sit in rooms with senior OEM engineers, and make our Infinite Fiber Placement (IFP) process the obvious answer? Do you thrive when travel, technical depth, and account ownership all sit on your desk? Then you will love this opportunity at Holy Technologies.

What you will do

  • Develop deep expertise in Holy's products and IFP technology to communicate lightweighting solutions credibly to customers.

  • Serve as the trusted technical advisor to sales, marketing, and customers from first touchpoint through expansion.

  • Run the technical sales conversation: requirements, application engineering, and on-site demonstrations.

  • Assess customer CAD files and components for manufacturing feasibility and articulate trade-offs to engineering counterparts.

  • Manage technical proposals and RFQs, and support the Head of Growth and CEO in negotiation and closing.

  • Travel to prospects and customers across DACH and Europe.

  • Act as the interface between customers and engineering: translate customer requirements into clear technical briefs and channel feedback back into product and process.

  • Build the playbook for how Holy runs technical sales as we scale.

What we are looking for

  • You hold a degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, ideally complemented by business education (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, business minor, MBA, or similar).

  • You are credible to senior engineers and explain well. You discuss stress, stiffness, and design-for-manufacturing as a peer, and can walk a room through a new manufacturing concept clearly.

  • You are analytical and structured. You take ambiguous customer requirements and turn them into clear next steps.

  • You genuinely enjoy the sales motion: discovery, qualification, and moving deals forward.

  • You communicate clearly in German and English, in front of engineering teams and on paper.

  • You have hands-on knowledge of CAD and translate geometry into manufacturing conversations.

  • You are willing to travel across DACH and Europe.

  • PLUS: Experience with composites, or selling into medical, robotics, industrial manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or similar industries.

You do not tick all the boxes? We are looking for driven candidates who most importantly add to our culture, and don’t just blend in. Feel free to submit an Unsolicited Application if you believe you are a fit.

What we care about

  • Honesty: Being authentic and honest creates trust toward colleagues, customers, and business partners.

  • Optimism: Positivity is the fuel for all good decisions. Smile and spread positivity in the workplace. Do not take yourself too seriously and treat others with respect.

  • Focus: Always separate unimportant from important. Focus on the impactful actions that lead to impactful results.

  • Courage: Courage is the source of any big success. Stand up for your ideas, no matter how bold.

  • Sustainability: Do it nice or do it twice. Consider the future consequences of your actions holistically.

  • We win and fail together: Fail early, fail often, fail forward. Failure is where the lessons are. We overcome challenges as a team.

What we offer

  • Impact: Work on a meaningful solution in the fight against climate change with us.

  • Growth: Learn from experienced colleagues, grow your knowledge, and expand your skills within your field or by entering new ones.

  • Ownership: Take ownership and meaningfully shape an early-stage company.

  • Competitive compensation: We believe in rewarding good work.

  • Equity: We want you to become a part of us.

  • Additional perks: We cover 50% of your costs for fitness (Wellpass), language courses, and the German public transport ticket.

  • Pick your poison: Use the technical equipment of your choice including a meaningful home office set-up.

  • Fun place to work: Enjoying work is crucial for us.

About us

Holy Technologies pioneers autonomous composite manufacturing to help manufacturers build radically better lightweight components.

We are a European contract manufacturer specialized in ultralight load-bearing composite parts for automotive, aerospace, robotics and industrial manufacturing. Our proprietary Infinite Fiber Placement (IFP) technology enables cost-competitive production at mid-to-high volumes, delivering aramid and carbon fiber components that are fast to produce, scalable, and fully recyclable.

IFP places continuous dry fibers along load-optimized trajectories calculated by proprietary software. This process delivers parts at minimum weight with enhanced mechanical performance.

From prototypes to series production, we help teams move from CAD to finished parts in weeks instead of months, allowing our customers to innovate faster and stay ahead of competition.
