We’re creating a new category between ERP and PLM - Lifecycle Cost Intelligence - to help industrial companies make smarter, faster, and more profitable product decisions.

Every year, manufacturers lose billions because 80% of product costs are decided before production starts, yet teams still work in spreadsheets.

Our platform connects engineering, cost, and sourcing data into one collaborative space - helping hardware teams reach target costs before production, not after.

Now, we’re looking for a Software Development Intern to help us expand and scale our platform, working directly with our CTO and co-founder, Dominik, who brings over 13 years of deep software engineering experience.

🧠 About the Role

As a Software Development Intern, you’ll work hand-in-hand with Dominik (CTO) and our founding team to build, scale, and optimize the valuemize platform.

Dominik has led engineering teams of 12+ people at SAP, built large-scale payment systems for U.S. corporates, and launched his own startup. You’ll learn directly from him and contribute to real production code from day one.

You’ll own real projects, design subsystems, and help build the technical foundation of our product as we scale.

⚙️ Our Tech Stack

• Frontend: React / Next.js (Full-Stack App)
• Backend: Node.js / TypeScript / SQL / Postgres / Prisma ORM
• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD

✅ What You’ll Do

• Build and deploy new product features end-to-end in our full-stack environment
• Work on backend APIs, data pipelines, and AI-driven cost intelligence modules
• Collaborate closely with the CTO on architecture, scalability, and code quality
• Explore and prototype the use of AI/ML in manufacturing data analysis
• Take ownership of your own software projects or subsystems within the platform
• Contribute ideas that improve product performance, reliability, and usability

🎯 Who You Are

• Passionate about building high-quality, scalable software
• Strong foundation in computer science, algorithms, and web technologies
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js or Python
• Excited to learn about AI, ML, and modern data architectures
• A self-learner who stays on top of new technologies and trends
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-trust environment

🎓 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Software Engineering, CS or related field
• Experience from prior (startup) internships, open-source projects, or personal builds
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and software reliability is a plus
• Proficient in English (German is a plus)
• Available for 3–6 months
