Job Description

Have you ever craved the rush of piloting your own X-wing like Luke Skywalker, navigating through the investor hyperspace? Have you found yourself diving into research with the same relentless focus as Hermione Granger, turning raw data into strategic wins? If you’re energized by real responsibility, immediate impact, and working side-by-side with founders on fundraising, operations, and beyond, then Malao’s Mission Control Crew needs you.

Malao’s “Mission Control Crew” will form a select cohort of 2–5 who partner closely with our management team on our fundraising, day-to-day operations, and strategic projects across multiple products and departments. From researching potential investors, running errands, putting together a new business model in Excel, finding the perfect gift for a business partner, pre-writing emails, booking travel, editing presentations, creating a concept for a launch event - the breadth of tasks is endless.

Candidate’s Qualities

We’re looking for passionate people up for any challenge, to dive into a dynamic, growing startup instigating real, positive change in entertainment. You should bring:

• Positivity to solve any problem – “that’s not possible” is not in our vocabulary
• Openness to challenge conventional approaches and bring innovative ideas to the table
• Technical efficiency amongst multiple tools (Microsoft Office 365, etc.) and utilization of AI, or willingness to learn (fast :))
• Fluent in both English and German
• Alignment with Malao’s strong value set of truth, justice, courage, gratitude and joy, demonstrating integrity and an enthusiasm to collaborate with others, and enthusiasm for personal and professional growth in an environment encouraging open communication and candor.

Within the Mission Control Crew, you’ll have the chance to try out multiple areas and types of tasks and are looking for generalists who aren’t afraid to take on each task as it comes. However, if you have specific skills that you think would support the company’s vision, please express your specialty in the application.
